Ayatollah Hamedani: War in Syria is between Islamists and Anti-Islamists

“Nowadays it is incumbent upon each of us to give our consummate attention to prime importance of Culture in a bid to stand against the stratagem hatched by the enemies of Islam,” said the Islamic Jurisprudents, Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The religious cleric points to the standing ravaged situation in some Islamic countries, placing the blame of spate of violence on the U.S and regime of Zionism.

“The US drawing up legal justifications to bring democracy for Muslim countries,” said the seasoned Islamic Jurisprudent.

Violence is at an all-time high in some Muslim countries, in this regard, Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani underscored that in these countries including Syria, the war is not between the two groups or political parties, it is the war between Islamic and Anti-Islamic movement.

Syria has been gripped by deadly unrest since March 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating inside Syria.

According to the UN, more than 100,000 people have been killed and a total of 7.8 million of others displaced due to the violence.
