‘Ayatollah Khamenei shows the right path’

Ayatollah Sistani’s representative says the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s guidelines have shown scholars the ‘right path’ to attaining unity between Muslims.
In an interview to Al-Alam on Monday Sheikh Hani Hamid al-Thamer, Grand Ayatollah Sistani’s representative to Diyala Province of Iraq praised the holding of Scholars and Islamic Awakening conference as inspired by the Holy Quran, emphasizing that the sole path to avoid the evil, according to Quran’s recommendations, was dialogue even with non-Muslims.

He believed that Islamic scholars were the pillars of the awakening in the life of Islamic Ummah and as pioneers of Islamic Awakening. “

Imam Khomeini (RA), with his most felicitous act, brought about the flourishing of Islamic Awakening in the world, and now, his way will be continued by Imam Khamanei’s leadership,” added he.

Sheikh Hani Hamid al-Thamer also asserted that guidelines by the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppresed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei in yesterday’s meeting led the scholars into the right path; “a path directing them to attainment of their duty on unifying the Muslims.”
