Ayatollah Rafsanjani votes for Majlis elections

Chairman of Expediency Council, Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, on Friday hoped that Iranian officials would help materialize the pivotal guidelines of The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei.
Talking to IRNA after casting his ballot for the 9th Majlis run-off elections, Rafsanjani said, “I am sure that if we upgrade production and attract the capital and assets of the Iranian expatriates, part of problems facing the country will be resolved.”

Some 130 hopefuls are vying for 65 seats in the ninth Majlis run-off elections underway in 14,323 ballot stations across the country.
