Informed sources said that the Syrian army has advanced against the rebels in the Central province of Homs and killed at least three senior members of Jeish al-Fatah.

The sources confirmed that the Syrian army has gained more grounds against the rebel group of Jeish al-Fatah in al-Mansoura, al-Ziyara, al-Inkawi, Qastoun, al-Hwash, al-Amkia, al-Kahira and Shahshabo Mountain in Hama countryside, killing at least three commanders of the group, including Ahmad al-Rayan and Majid Abu Ramadan.

On Wednesday, the foreign-backed Takfiri militants fighting to topple the Syrian government suffered heavy losses in Hama as the army continues its mop-up operations across the country.

The Syrian army targeted terrorists’ positions in Qleidin, Daqman and al-Zaqqoum in the Northwestern countryside, killing a group of them.

Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.

Over 3.8 million Syrians have left their country since the beginning of the crisis. According to reports, more than seven million Syrians have become internally displaced.
