Barazani meets with leaders of Kurdish opposition

President of Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barazani, met on Thursday, Jan. 17, with the three leaders of Kurdish opposition, Nusherwan Mustafa, of the Taghyeer Movement, Mohammed Faraj, Kurdish Islamic Union, and Ali Babeer, the Emir of Islamic Group.

A statement to the press issued by the Region’s Government said that the meeting discussed the situation in Kurdistan Region and the relations between Kurdish political forces, in addition to the national unity.

The statement added that the meeting held in a positive atmosphere; it was decided to continue such meetings until reaching results that serve the people of Kurdistan.
