Pakistanis in Karachi protest against killing of ShiasPeople in the southern Pakistani port city of Karachi have held a rally to protest against deadly attacks targeting Shia Muslims. Thousands muslims have been targeted brutally by the terrorists supported by Pakistani Regime behind the scene. Meanwhile Sunnis and Shias in Pakistan have no problem but government has problem with the muslims especially the conscious muslims.

The protest came after funeral ceremonies for three Shia Muslims who were killed in terrorist attacks in different parts of Pakistan over the past 24 hours. The Shia mourners shouted slogans against the extremist groups behind the killings as well as the government in Islamabad. They blamed foreign-funded Takfiri elements and pro-Taliban groups for the killings and slammed Islamabad for failing to provide security for the Muslim community, saying the government must take decisive action against the forces involved in the targeted killings.

Meanwhile, the Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) called on people to stage sit-ins across the country. The major Shia Muslim party said the move is aimed at pushing the government to take action against the terrorist attacks targeting Shias.

The Shia Post reported on Wednesday that a Shia Muslim, named as Ejaz Hussain, was shot dead by gunmen in the Nusrat Bhutto Colony area of Karachi. Another Shia Muslim, Nazar Abbas, was reportedly killed by the outlawed Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi in a village in Dera Ismail Khan District in the northwest province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A Shia youth, named Syed Ahsan Zaidi, was also killed in an attack on his shop in Ghokowal area, Faisalabad. The banned group Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) is reportedly responsible for the assassination.

The killing of Shias in Pakistan has caused international outrage, with rights groups and regional countries expressing concern over the ongoing deadly violence against the Shia community, which reportedly makes up about a third of Pakistan’s population of over 180 million.
