Well-informed sources said there’s a sort of crisis concerning the Saudi Arabia’s monarchy especially that the health of 86-year-old King Abdullah’s and the country’s Crown Prince Salman, who succeeded Prince Nayef four months ago, was getting worse day by day.

Some leading officials, among them March 14 coalition officials, were satisfied with the way Hezbollah had dealt with the accusations leveled against them after the October 19 assassination of Brigadier General Wissam Al-Hasan. They even said Hezbollah was “wise” and “responsible” in this regard.

Some officials were surprised with the tone and way former PM Fuad Siniora delivered his speech on the day funeral day of Al-Hasan which lead to disturbance and turmoil in Lebanon. The officials, who are within March 14 forces, described Siniora’s speech as “irresponsible” for a political official. But they were very pleased with the general director of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces Ashraf Rifi who was balanced in his positions.
