Birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) celebrated across India

Birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was celebrated across India with religious fervor on Friday.

Hundreds of Thousands of people converged at Mosques in difference places, across India, to hold special prayers and attend grand processions to mark the auspicious occasion.

In national capital Delhi, special prayers were held at historical Jama Mosque, led by Maulana Ahmed Bukhari and Maulana Mukarram Ahmed.

Faithfuls, carrying flags, were crying out slogans in memory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The procession was addressed by religious and local leaders, who greeted the pilgrims on the occasion. “This is the festival of Universal peace because Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was the savior of humanity in all respects.”

Similar programs were held across the country to mark the auspicious occasion.
