Blast hits Latakia claiming no martyrs, Syrian Army curbs “the Storm of Jabal al-Zawieh

A blast take place inside a military zone for Syrian Arab Army on the entrance of Latakia city, while Syrian Army holds off a battle initiated by Free Army militia in Edlib countryside.

The blast took place inside the engineering battalion of Syrian Army in al-Bassah village on the entrance of Latakia city.

Our reporter quotes of military source that the blast has caused material damages and injuries among the army’s ranks, stressing that no martyrs were recorded.

The Syrian state channel quotes of an official source as saying that the blast was caused by a technical error in one of the military engineering units, what resulted in 6 injuries. ”

Syrian Army curbs “the Storm of Jabal al-Zawieh” battle.

Severe clashes take place between Syrian Arab Army and the armed militias which have attacked on two military points in areas of Jabal al-Zawieh of Edlib countryside.

Armed men with the participation of “ Ahrar al-Zawieh, the gather of the battalions and the brigades of Shuhadaa Suria, Nusour Jabal al-Zawieh brigade and al-Farouq battalions” have attacked on military points in the earlier hours of the morning through a battle called by “the storm of Jabal al-Zawieh”

Our correspondent says that the armed men have attacked on al-Qyasat checkpoint near Kafer-Shlaya village in Jabal al-Zawieh near Hama- Damascus road along with the attack on al-Jazar checkpoint near al-Rami village near Latakia- Edlib road.

Our reporter quotes of field sources his assuring the death of more than 30 insurgents during the battles, including Hasan Muhammad Abras the rebel leader of “Ahrar al-Zawieh brigade”, Redwan Muhammad Zuraiq and the leader of “Sukkoor al-Sham” Alaa al-Dim Ajeena called by Abu Yamen and the injury of dozens.
