Less Than 10% of Iraqi Territory under Daesh Control: Iraq Defense Minister

Daesh, terrorist group, had captured vast areas in Iraq and Syria forcing hundreds of people to flee their homes. The group, notorious for its human rights abuses,claimed responsibility for a number of major terrorist attacks staged in different parts of the world.

 Iraqi Defense Minister Khalid al-Obeidi also thanked the international anti-Daesh coalition for financial and military support in the fight against terrorists.
