Breaking: Syrian Army seizes two more towns in east Daraa

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has seized two more towns in the eastern countryside of the Daraa Governorate this afternoon.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian military advanced from recently captured Nahitah and Sama Al-Hadeitat to attack the two towns of Maliha Al-Gharbiyah and Maliha Al-Sharqiyah.

A short battle would breakout after the Syrian Army moved from Sama Al-Hadeidat and it would end with their forces imposing full control over Maliha Al-Gharbiyah and Maliha Al-Sharqiyah.

As a result of this advance, the Syrian Arab Army now finds themselves on the outskirts of the rebel stronghold of Al-Hirak, which is the largest town in east Daraa.

In addition to reaching Al-Hirak, the Syrian Arab Army is now at the Brigade 52 Base, which they lost to the rebel forces in early 2015.
