Car bomb in Homs kills 14 and injures 50, mortars injure 5 in Damascus and Jaramana

A terrorist car bomb explosion which rocked al-Walid suburb in the city of Homs on Friday claimed the lives of 14 civilians, including women and children, a source in the province told SANA.

50 other citizens were reported wounded in the bombing, which hit near March 8 intersection in the suburb, according to the source.

The terrorists had earlier parked the car near the intersection only to blow it up later, causing great material damage to houses, shops and cars.

Five citizens injured by terrorists’ mortars on al-Zablatani in Damascus and Jaramana

Two citizens were injured after terrorists launched a mortar shell on the residential area of al-Zablatani in Damascus.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that the shell fell on al-Hal Market. Causing the injury of two citizens and material damage to the area.

The source added that terrorists fired 6 mortar shells on the city of Jaramana, causing the injury of three citizens and material damage to the private properties in the area.
