Chavez not mummified

938110_thumThe corpse of Venezuela’s late president has been transferred to military museum in Caracas, without being mummified.
Venezuelan government had stated before that it would mummify Chavez’s body and put it into public display in a glass device in ‘Revolution’ museum to be built later.

Yesterday tens of thousands of Chavez fans attended the path where Chavez’s coffin was being moved toward ‘February 4th Military Museum’ in Caracas, and Evo Morales was attending in a car ridden by Nicolas Maduro, Chavez’s deputy and future election nominee.

Chavez died in March 5 after two years of fight with cancer when he was 58 years old. He was elected as president in 1998 and ruled the country for 14 years. Future Venezuelan presidential elections will be held in April 14th.
