Chinese Media Delegation: Situation in Lattakia Stable

Governor of Lattakia, Suleiman al-Nasser, stressed that al-Haffa city is living a normal life after it was cleared of the armed terrorist groups, noting that the government is working to provide the citizens with all the needs and requirements.

The Governor’s remarks came during a meeting on Saturday with a media delegation from the state-run China Central TV (CCTV) chaired by Wang Weiwei.

Weiwei expressed satisfaction regarding the good situation she felt in Lattakia city, pointing out that she and the accompanying delegation witnessed stability and security in different areas in the province.

The Chinese journalist clarified that the aim of this visit is to inspect the reality of events in Lattakia, noting that the delegation will visit al-Haffeh to inspect the situation on the ground.

The Governor highlighted that all Syrian Citizens with the various social and political affiliations stood against terrorism and supported the Syria Arab Army who is foiling the terrorist infiltration attempts from Turkey’s border to Syria’s lands. ‘

The Chinese CCTV broadcasts in several languages including the Arabic and has an office in Damascus.
