Clashes and arrests in occupied Qods

images_News_2013_09_27_demo-jerusalem_300_0Violent clashes have erupted following Friday prayers throughout the occupied city of Qods. Four youths were injured while five others were arrested.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli soldiers forcibly dispersed worshipers in front of al-Amud Gate, while popular demonstrations headed to al-Aqsa mosque.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted at Qalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem where several injuries were reported due to the Israeli sound and gas bombs, PIC reporter said.

Youth for Intifada Coalition called, in a statement, on the Palestinians to step up the resistance against the occupation on the 13th anniversary of Al-Aqsa Intifada which falls on Friday in protest against the Israeli escalated attacks in al-Aqsa mosque.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli authorities have prevented worshipers under 50 years old from entering into al-Aqsa mosque.
