CNN:NATO operation in Marjah not successful

The US based CNN news network stated that despite remarks made by Afghan and NATO officials, the recent military campaign in Marjah was not so far successful.

The CNN correspondent who has joined the US forces in NATO attack on militant in southern Afghanistan stated that despite Afghan and NATO troops joint attacks there is no sign of defeat in the Taliban forces in Marjah.

Marjah, a town in Helmand Province, is Taliban’s last major stronghold in the province which is at present the sight of clashes between NATO lead forces and the militants.
