Iran President in an interview with “Nile TV International” talked about range of issues and stressed that; “there are no obstacle for resuming normal relations between Iran and Egypt.”
In response to a question that there are countries in the region which do not want to see normalization of Iran and Egypt relations, Ahmadinejad said; “Iran wants to cooperate with Egypt in an atmosphere of respect and justice and we do not want to impose any political demands, Egypt progress is our progress.”

In response to another question about the travel of Major Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the Commander of Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Quds Force to Egypt said; “If he travels to Egypt, he will come in an official capacity,” he added, “restoration of relation between Iran and Egypt has enemies. Egypt has over 95 million populations and thousands of newspapers, and maybe some of them write anti-Iranian news, should we then say ‘Egypt is against Iran’?”

Ahmadinejad responded to a question about the Supreme Leader speech in Arabic for Arab speaking nations said; “speaking with the language of another country shows understanding of one-another and this is not the sign of interference. Nobody can impose their demands against the wishes of Egyptian people.”

Iran President answered question regarding his encounter with the speaker of Iran Majlis (Parliament) and said; “I did not accused Mr. Larijani for corruption, I just said something about his brother, there is freedom of expression in Iran.”

Regarding the Syrian crisis Ahmadinejad said; “considering that fighting going on between different tribes and groups of Syrians, people could not get their demands, we are trying to bring about a political settlement in Syria, so the nation could choose its own path.”

He also talked about Bahrain revolution and said; “we have said this about Bahrain as well, Iran is calling for free election and respect of human rights in that country.”

Iran President responding to a question about Israeli regime military threat against Iran said; “Iran is not afraid of any country’s threat, Iran is not even afraid of the creators and supporter of the apartheid regime, we insist the regime that is threatening others in the region, must be reformed and their behavior should be modified.

Ahmadinejad also talked about the US and said; “The US is in a much weaker position compare to 20 years ago, they are also confronting lots of challenges, we believe that colonialism and mega-capitalism is on the verge of extinction.”

The Nile TV host asked if he had any massage for the residents of occupied territory, and he responded; “the residents of occupied territory are two groups, those that continue their building illegal settlements and occupation, which they should stop their activities, and another group are immigrants who came to the occupied territory with the promises of housing and other amenities from other countries of the world, Palestinians should decide for them, whether they should stay or move back to their own countries.”

The Nile TV host also asked Ahmadinejad to send a message for Benjamin Netanyahu, and Barak Obama, and he said; “My message to the Zionist Prime Minister is same message as the other Islamic countries.” As for a message to President Obama; “I believe all nations should live in peace. No country should use justice and fairness as a hypocritical slogan, when Obama came into office with the slogan of change, this change did not take place, we are ready to help the US in this regard.

The US should respect the sovereignty of Afghanistan, and if she honors this, we are ready to help the US.
