Commander: Armed Forces to Turn Iran into Hell for Aggressors

Commander of Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmayeeli warned enemies not to even think of making the slightest aggression against Iran, stressing that the Armed Forces will turn the country into a hell for aggressors.

“Iran will severely respond any possible aggression on its territory with a strong fist,” General Esmayeeli said on Friday, addressing a ceremony.

He said that Khatam ol-Anbia air base is monitoring the country’s sky 24 hours a day and seven days a week, adding that the air base has expanded its operation in 3,700 points throughout the country.

“The air defense base comprises the Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), the Police Force and Basij (Voluntary) forces, who are mostly young forces acting decisively against the enemy,” General Esmayeeli said.

In relevant remarks in February, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan warned of the US and Israel’s threats to the region, but meantime, stressed his country’s high deterrence power and preparedness to defend itself.

“We don’t consider the regional countries as a threat, and the main threats are the US and the Zionist regime and we are preparing ourselves in conjunction with these threats. Of course, today we are enjoying a (high) level of deterrence,” General Dehqan said in an interview with the state TV.

Noting that the Islamic Republic has not recognized Israel’s existence and legitimacy and considers the regime as a source of insecurity in the region, he said, “Israel today is confined to the occupied territories and doesn’t dare to act against its neighbors.”

General Dehqan also warned of the threat posed by the Takfiri terrorists which have been created by the US, Israel and certain Persian Gulf littoral states, headed by Saudi Arabia, and warned that they are a threat to the global security and their supporters will one day regret their deeds.
