Daesh executes 5 people by big bulldozer in Iraq’s Mosul

The Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has crushed five civilians to death by a huge bulldozer in Iraq’s embattled northern province of Nineveh.

A local source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Daesh members carried out the gruesome execution in Mosul’s central neighborhood of al-Faisaliyah on Sunday, adding that the bodies were later dumped in a deep hole west of the militant-held city, Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network reported.

The victims, whose hands had been tied, were accused of collaborating with the central government in Baghdad and voicing opposition to the radical ideology of the Takfiris.

This is not the first time Daesh Takfiris execute people by crushing them under a heavy vehicle. In June 2014, they ran over a Syrian man by a tank in the city of Homs.

Despite resorting to violence for a better management of the areas under their control, the terrorists have recently been losing ground to Iraqi forces.

Security forces managed to evacuate 635 civilians, mostly women and children, from the city of Ramadi in the western province of Anbar earlier on Sunday and transferred them to al-Habbaniyah Camp in the city of al-Khalediyah, 23 kilometers (14 miles) east of Ramadi.

These civilians had been besieged by Daesh militants in al-Sufiyah and al-Sejariyah east of Ramadi and had managed to break the siege.

The security forces also arrested 12 members of the terror group, who intended to escape in civilian disguise.

Sporadic clashes still continue in Ramadi and other parts of Anbar; however, Iraqi forces say they have purged Daesh militants from their key positions in the city and have totally liberated the central Ramadi.

The northern and western parts of Iraq have been plagued by gruesome violence ever since Daesh mounted an offensive, which followed committing vicious crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Izadis, and Christians.

The Iraqi army together with fighters from the Popular Mobilization units has been engaged in operations to liberate the militant-held regions.
