Defense Minister: Syrian people’s support to leadership defeated enemies

Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Minister of Defense Fahd Jasem al-Freij visited Thursday one of the Army’s formations in al-Qamishli city, inspecting performance of officers and soldiers and hailing the high moral spirit they enjoy to achieve victory over enemies of Syria.

During the visit, Minister al-Freij conveyed the amity and greetings of President Bashar al-Assad to Army members for their sacrifices and heroism to restore security and stability to Homeland.

“The Syrian citizens’ struggle and support to the leadership of President al-Assad and their embracement around their Army have enabled them to defeat the conspiracy which was supported by an international systemized terrorism,” the Minister added.

He affirmed that national unity and fraternity to which the Syrian people in general, and sons of al-Hasaka city in particular, are enjoying, have foiled plots of those who wanted to sow seeds of sedition among sons of the one Homeland.
