Deir Ezzur: Countdown Starts for Final Battle between Syrian Army, ISIL Terrorists

Syrian Army troops are preparing to launch a large-scale offensive on the Takfiri terrorists’ positions to end militancy in Deir Ezzur, military sources said, adding the ISIL also has started fortifying its defense lines and calling for fresh fighters.

“Syrian soldiers have been reinvigorating their positions near Deir Ezzur airbase, meantime, the Syrian reconnaissance planes have been monitoring the Takfiri terrorists’ military movements in the region,” the sources said, adding, “ISIL terrorists, for their part, have set up more checkpoints and patrol across militant-held regions in the province to be aware of any change in the Syrian army troop’s arrangement of military units.”

Reports said earlier today that the Syrian fighter jets carried out several combat flights over ISIL’s bases and gatherings in the Western countryside of Deir Ezzur city, destroying their militants’ military hardware in large scale.

The Syrian Army aircraft struck heavily ISIL’s bases near the village of al-Baqaliyeh, which not only claimed the lives of several militants but destroyed their military equipment and vehicles.

In the meantime, the ISIL’s military-logistical vehicles in Western side of Panorama were badly bombed by the Syrian bombers.
