The difference between Islamic sects- the difference between Shia and Sunni merely at a level of beliefs- does not make problems; each have their own beliefs. But the problem arises when this difference in beliefs spreads to emotional and behavioral differences, when it spreads to conflicts, violence and enmity; the enemies of Islam are perusing such thoughts and plots. They have realized very well that if in the world of Islam, different Islamic sects pounce on each other and begin to confront one another, the Zionist regime will enjoy a fresh breath; they have realized this very well, thus on the one hand they establish takfiri groups who excommunicate not only Shias but also many Sunni sects; and on the other hand they hire some turncoats [labeled as Shias] to feed the conflicts, to fuel the fire; and you can see and hear, you know about that. They provide them with media and mass communication facilities; where? In the U.S! In London!
The Shi’ism that seeks to be spread across the world from London and the U.S. does not benefit the Shias. The great Shia leaders, particularly after the victory of the Islamic revolution, scholars like Imam Khomeini and others have strongly emphasized on maintaining unity among the Muslim community and on brotherhood among Muslims, while some people seek to seed discord and conflict. This is what the enemy is seeking.
