Egyptian delegation to arrive today in Gaza

A delegation from the Egyptian intelligence service is expected to arrive in the Gaza Strip on Monday afternoon to follow up what has been implemented with regard to the Palestinian reconciliation agreement signed recently between Hamas and Fatah.

An informed source told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the Egyptian delegation would enter Gaza through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing and meet with Hamas officials to discuss the reconciliation process, including the steps that were taken to enable the Palestinian government to assume its responsibilities in Gaza.

The source said that a ministerial delegation from the Palestinian government would come along with the Egyptians, adding a cabinet meeting would be held on Tuesday in Gaza.
