Morsi declares state of emergency in Port Said, Suez, Ismalia

Egypt’s president has announced a one-month-long state of emergency in the cities of Port Said, Suez, and Ismailia following deadly clashes in the country.

He announced the decision on Sunday. Morsi also thanked Egyptian police and military for their efforts to secure the country.
