‘Enemies plots against Syria will fail’

Iran’s Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou has condemned terrorists crimes in Syria, noting that enemies’ plots against Syria will certainly fail.

According to IRIB, Saeedlou said in a Saturday meeting with Syrian Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Subhi Ahmad al-Abdullah “Enemies have hatched many plots to pose a challenge to free and justice-seeking countries in the region, including Syria, but they should know that their attempts will fail.”
He rejected a military solution to the Syria crisis, saying that peace cannot be restored by force or weapons and the Syrian people are entitled to determine their own future.
Saeedlou stated that terrorist attacks in Syria are result of the enemies’ failure to break down the resistance of the Syrian people.
He also described Tehran-Damascus relations as strategic and called for the promotion of trade transactions between the two countries through further development of private sectors.
The Syrian minister, for his part, praised Iran’s full support of Syria and expressed his country’s readiness to expand cooperation with the Islamic Republic in different sectors, especially in economic affairs.
Regarding the Syria unrest, Abdullah said Damascus will finally emerge victorious in its battle against the enemies.
