Masjedi said that by support of officials, people and religious authorities of the two nations of Iran and Iraq will take firm steps in direction of unity and brotherhood.

The ambassador said that sustainable security in Iraq is so important to Iran.

Iran, in direction of development of its ties in different fields of economic, social, cultural and political with Iraq is trying to help Iraqi government and nation fight against terrorist groups.

Iran’s helping and organizing popular forces in Iraq had resulted in liberation of many areas from Daesh (the ISIS terrorist group) occupation and Mosel, as the last point of Daesh presence in Iraq, is on the verge of full liberation.

Masjedi said that by full demolishment of Daesh in Iraq, security and suitable atmosphere will be created in Iraq for the presence of the Iranian pilgrims.
