Erdogan Urges Action over Syria: We “Can’t Remain Spectator“

While there is real massacre in Myanmar it has been long time the massacre in Palestine, Iraq, Afganistan… it is very interesting that the Turkish government is still focusing on Syria which has been the scene of terrorists acts that are certainly backed, financed, armed by Washington, Tel Aviv, Ankara, London, Berlin and some certain Arab regimes. When U.S took the decision to attack Iraq this government did not say anything about the case, at that time they were spectator.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged international steps t be taken against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, saying that Ankara could not remain “spectator” over the events in the crisis-hit country.

“There is a build-up in Aleppo, and the recent statements with respect to the use of weapons of mass destruction are actions that we cannot remain an observer or spectator to,” Erdogan said at a joint news conference in London with British Prime Minister David Cameron.

“Steps need to be taken jointly within the United Nations Security Council, the Organization of Islamic Countries, the Arab League, and we must work together to try to overcome the situation,” he said.

For his part, Cameron said Britain and Turkey were “concerned” that Assad’s government was about to carry out “some truly appalling acts around and in the city of Aleppo”.

“In Aleppo itself the regime is preparing for an attack with its tanks and helicopters … My hope is that they’ll get the necessary answer from the real sons(?) of Syria,” Erdogan said earlier in remarks broadcast on Turkish TV channels.

Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili says Washington and Tel Aviv have targeted Damascus because of its “exemplary” support for the Palestinian cause.
“The Syrian government and nation’s support for Palestine and the [anti-Israeli] resistance movement is exemplary in the region and that is why it (Syria) is being targeted by the US, Zionists, and terrorists,” Jalili said in a meeting in with Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Omar Ghalawanji in Tehran on Thursday.

Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri, the deputy chief of Iran’s joint armed forces said that “the Syrians are very angry with the evil governments of America, Turkey, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other allies of the terrorists.”
He charged that “the United States and “Israel” were leading an all-out campaign against Syria but were facing a great defeat.”
“Now, the enemy cannot do anything except through terrorist acts, bombings and media propaganda,” he was quoted as saying.
