Evacuated Civilians Describe Besieged Homs as “Jungle of Monsters”

Syrian civilians are evacuating the besieged districts of Homs from the Old City according to a UN-sponsored agreement on a ceasefire to allow for humanitarian aid to get in and let civilians out. Some of the civilians who have left city gave their testimony of what they experienced under the rule of the armed militants. “It is truly a jungle of monsters that we used to live in,” says a mother who was able to leave with her family.
