Syrian Army raids one of the largest strongholds of al-Qaeda in Syria

Syrian Army has launched an operation, in which it aims to retake Yabroud city, which is one of the largest strongholds of al-Nusra Front affiliated to al-Qaeda organization in Syria.
Both Ras al-Ma’ara and al-Jarajir areas that sited in the outskirts of Yarboud city, are now under the Army’s control.
A military source has stressed to Breaking News Network that the Army launched since the earlier hours of Wednesday 12 February a military operation to regain Yabroud city the largest stronghold of al-Nusra Front in Syria.
Sources of Breaking News Network said that the Army has advanced on al-Aridi street in North Yabroud, as soldiers of the army have concentrated on the highland areas around the city.
