VIDEO: Exclusive footage from Syrian safe-zones

Last week, the Russian, Turkish, and Iranian delegations at the Syrian peace conference in Astana, Kazakhstan announced the signing of a memorandum that would implement four safe-zones around Syria.

On May 6th, the safe-zone agreement was put in place, marking the first time in years that any aircraft was present over the skies of the East Ghouta, northern Homs, southern Syria (Dara’a and Al-Quneitra governorates), and Idlib Governorate.

Russia’s Channel 1 News Agency released footage from the Syrian safe-zones on Monday, showing a bird’s eye-view of this territory.

The safe-zone deal has been relatively successful, as no violations have recorded by any party involved in this agreement.
