A senior expert at the Institute for World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO), George Mireski, says popular uprisings in regional states is sign of promotion of Iran’s anti-arrogance model and the US defeat.
Mireski told a press conference on Middle East issues that the popular uprisings in regional states highlighted Iran’s pioneering role in campaign against arrogance as underlining the US failure as a result.
He said popular uprisings and revolutions in Arab states of North Africa and Middle East point to re-awakening of Muslim nations of the region.
He added that in this juncture, regional states’ popular uprising should be taken as the liberation seeking movements.
He said popular uprisings in Arab countries of North Africa and Middle East have upgraded Iran’s spiritual standing in the minds of Arabs.
The nations experiencing revolutions, especially the Arab youth, whose ancestors followed Gamal Abdel Nasser Hussein, the second President of Egypt, for campaign against arrogance, now take Iran President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as their anti-arrogance campaign model.
