Five more Syrian Army soldiers captured by FSA Terrorists backed by Turkish Military forces in Aleppo province

 

Over the past 24 hours, Turkish-backed Euphrates Shield forces captured five soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) amid clashes in northeastern Aleppo near the city of Al-Bab.

One of soldiers was a member of the National Defence Forces (NDF) and saw himself captured amid skirmishes west of Manbij in an area which Kurdish forces have handed over to the SAA. His ID-card stated that he originated from Deir Ezzor.

 
Meanwhile, four SAA troops were captured as the Turkish Army and aligned Free Syrian Army (FSA) factions launched an renewed assault on Tadef in order to build a buffer-zone around Al-Bab. Unfortunately, one of the soldiers died shortly after from his injuries.

One Turkmen FSA faction claimed to have killed 9 fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), including a female commander, during clashes in the nearby village of Abu Hayj.

The FSA’s Al-Hamza Division also continued to demine IED’s left behind by ISIS insurgents prior to their withdrawal from the city.

In related news, the SAA has scored unprecedented gains against ISIS in the eastern Aleppo countryside, capturing around five villages daily.
