FM Spokesman: Iran will help Lebanon establish its government

In an interview with Lebanese Newspaper al-Nahar, which was published on Tuesday, the spokesman said that Lebanese people have enough ability to solve their own problems, including establishment of a new government, but some internal and external groups are creating obstacles in this way.
Answering a question about Iran’s concern about Syria current situation, Mihman-parast underlined that the US and its allies presume that by isolating Syria they will be able to destroy supporters of the resistance.
He continued that Iran believes in peaceful reforms and also thinks that the region will never allow collapse of Syrian regime and that it is the people who determine their own fate.
Replying to a question about Iran-Saudi Arabia relations, Mihman-parast said that Iran tried, from the beginning, to have a bright stance about current development in the region and we believe cooperation among countries of the Middle East and Persian Gulf will be necessary to strengthen security, economic expansion and preventing alien countries to find pretexts for interfering in the regional affairs as well as fight against the Zionist regime because the regime is trying to create disunity among countries of the region.
He added that the Zionists presume that there are ethnical and racial differences between Iranians and Arabs as well as Shia and Sunni Muslims and they are creating a big sedition and we ask Saudi Arabia and other countries to be aware about the threats against the region and we have to fight against this sedition together.
The spokesman underlined that we asked them to pay attention to people requests.
‘If minorities in a society are presenting their request peacefully, officials should answer them peacefully, too,’ said the spokesman.
