Forum for Rapprochement of Islamic Schools condemns Assassination of Al-Bouti

Forum for Rapprochement of Islamic Schools in the World strongly condemned the assassination of great scholar al-Bouti, describing the act as criminal and inhuman.

“The Forum received with big sorrow the news of the martyrdom of the Islamic intellectual, Sheikh al-Bouti who was well-known of his honorable services to the Islamic religion, his country and the Islamic world,” the Forum said in a statement on Saturday.

Iranian Shura Council offers Condolences

Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council Ali Larijani said that the renowned scholar, martyr al-Bouti was one of the prominent clerics who always condemned the terrorist attacks on Syria and called for the end of foreign intervention in the country.

In a statement on Saturday, Larijani offered condolences over the martyrdom of Scholar al-Bouti, expressing pain and regret over the act which claimed the lives of al-Bouti and his students.
