Gaza protests against zionist Egypt Regime’s labeling of Hamas as “terror organization”

Thousands of angry demonstrators thronged the streets of Gaza to protest an Egyptian court ruling against the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas.

Earlier in the day, Cairo’s Court of Urgent Matters declared the Hamas movement as a terrorist organization.The same court labeled Hamas’s military wing in late January as a terror group accusing it of involvement in attacks against Egyptian security personnel in the Sinai Peninsula.

The Hamas movement was previously outlawed by an Egyptian court in March last year.Protesters described the court’s ruling as shameful.

Relations between Hamas and Egypt rapidly deteriorated following the ouster of Egypt’s first democratically elected President Mohammad Morsi.Commenting on the recent ruling, Hamas officials described the decision as shocking and dangerous.

The latest Egyptian court ruling is likely to sour the already strained relations between Hamas and Egypt.Experts here in Gaza say the Egyptian court’s ruling will only serve the interests of Israel and further tighten the blockade on the impoverished coastal region.
