Gaza teen dies due to airstrike injuries

A Palestinian teenager has died due to injuries he received during Zionist Occupation Israeli airstrike on the Gaza Strip earlier this month, bringing the death toll from Zionist Occupation Israel’s recent spate of attacks on the Palestinian territory to 27.

The victim, who died on Monday, was identified as 14-year-old Haitam Maruf, AFP reported.

He was injured in Zionist Occupation Israeli airstrike on the city of Beit Lahiya, in the north of the Gaza Strip, on August 19.

Zionist Occupation Israel has intensified its assaults on the territory since August 15, when eight Zionist Occupation Israelis were killed in an attack near Zionist Occupation Israel’s Red Sea resort town of Eilat.

Zionist Occupation Israeli officials say Gaza-based resistance groups carried out the August 15 attack and vowed a ‘full-force’ response targeting the Palestinian territory.

However, officials of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, which controls the besieged Gaza Strip, have said that the group had nothing to do with the August 15 attack and have warned against any act of aggression against the Palestinian territory.
