Governor general denies release of border guards

Governor General of Sistan and Baluchistan province in a message in facebook denied news attributed to him or Governorate Office concerning release of Iranian kidnapped border guards.

Ali Ousat Hashemi, in his message hailed Iranian people, who eagerly want to receive news concerning fate of border guards, and added that whatever has so far been published is through the grouplet statements and until this moment there is no news from any officials about the border guards.

He stressed that their release can only be confirmed when they are in Iranˈs territory, so any news attributed to the governor or governorate is totally denied.

Hashemi continued that the case is being seriously followed and it is hoped that by prayers of people, the release of border guards happens.

Director General of the Governorate public relations bureau Alireza Barahouei on Saturday afternoon also complained about false interpretations of certain reporters and media from governorˈs remarks.
