People in Indian-administered Kashmir condemn anti-Islam film

People in Indian-administrated Kashmir have held protest in the main city of Srinagar to condemn an anti-Islam film insulting the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The rally which was held on Friday was organized by a group of lawyers in Srinagar. Indian police have clashed with the angry protestors who have been chanting slogan against those involved in the making of the movie.

Demonstrators say the anti-Islam film is meant to sow discord among various faiths. They have also condemned the movie as being blasphemous and demanded punishment for those behind its production.

The Muslim world is outraged at the US for allowing the production of the blasphemous video, which insults the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and depicts Islam as an oppressive religion.

Protests have also erupted in several other countries including Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Sudan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Pakistan in response to the sacrilegious film.

Angry protesters across the world have poured into the streets to condemn the blasphemous movie and demand the US government apologize to the Muslim world.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that the blasphemous movie has been produced by anti-Islam Israeli-American Sam Bacile.

The report added that, Bacile, a real estate developer, has assumed responsibility for the film, which he said was made thanks to Jewish donations totaling USD 5 million.
