Gunmen in More Regions Continue to Join Peace Agreement with Syrian Army

The Russian ministry’s statement said that militants in over 2,202 regions, town and villages have thus far laid down arms and joined reconciliation plan with the Syrian government and army.

Peace talks are underway in the provinces of Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus, Hama, Homs and Quneitra, the statement added.

Relevant reports said last week that 2,168 regions joined nationwide reconciliation plan after militants in more regions ended fight with the Damascus government.
