Haidar: Most European countries seeking new communications channels with Syria

State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar said that most European countries are now seeking new communications channels with Syria after the suspension of diplomatic relations.

In a statement to journalists after meeting the director of the Middle East and North Africa department at the Polish Foreign Ministry, Haidar said that the meeting tackled latest developments, prospects of the political process, the international conference due to be held in Geneva, and the European role in preparing the conference.
