Hamas and Islamic Jihad applaud individual resistance attacks

The Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements have hailed the individual operations which have been carried out recently by young men in Jerusalem and the West Bank in retaliation to Israeli violations.

Hamas spokesman Husam Badran stated in press remarks on Friday that the scenes of unity, cohesion and brotherhood among the Palestinians during the previous intifadas (uprisings) against the occupation were seen again in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Badran added that such scenes confirmed that the resistance is the only option which brings the Palestinians from all spectra together.

He saluted the Palestinians who protect the homes of their compatriots who carried out recent attacks against settlers.

Islamic Jihad representative to Lebanon Abu Imad Refa’ei, in turn, stated in similar remarks that Israel’s mass killing of the Palestinians would not quench the raging flame of the current intifada.

Refa’ei added that the individual stabbing and vehicular attacks on Jewish settlers and soldiers in all occupied areas reflected truthfully the Palestinians’ ability to confront the occupation and protect their holy sites.
