Hamas condemns arrest campaigns targeting Palestinian MPs

Hamas movement on Friday said that the Israeli arrest campaigns targeting the Hamas-affiliated members of the Palestinian Legislative Council will not discourage the movement from continuing its struggle against the occupation.

The Hamas leader Abdul Hakim Hanini said that the arrest of MP Ibrahim Abu Salem is another violation of international laws added to the endless series of crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people.

Hanini continued to say that the Israeli occupation’s attempts to intimidate the Palestinian people by arresting their prominent leaders will not succeed.

He explained that the new Palestinian generation are more responsible and aware of the price they may have to pay to get rid of the occupation.
