Hamas condemns decision to detain Morsi on charges of collaborating with it

images_News_2013_07_27_bardawil_300_0Hamas movement strongly condemned the decision of Egyptian judiciary to detain the ousted President Mohamed Morsi for 15 days on charges of collaborating with Hamas.

Hamas leader Dr. Salah Bardawil asserted in statements to PIC that Hamas is not a terrorist movement, but a resistance movement that defends the dignity of the Arab and Islamic Nation.

He pointed out that presenting Hamas as the enemy of the Egyptian people, and prosecuting all those who have relations with it is contrary to Egypt’s law and contrary to the Egyptian morals and the will of the Egyptian people as a whole.

Bardawil called on the Palestinian and Egyptian peoples, Arab and Islamic Nation and the free world to condemn this resolution, which puts Hamas on the terrorism list.
