Hamas Delegation in Egypt, Shalit Won’t be Last Soldier Kidnapped

Hamas on Wednesday warned that zionit israeli occupation forces Gilad Shalit won’t be the last soldier that it will kidnap.

Abu Obaida, spokesman for the armed wing of Hamas Izzeddine Qassam, was quoted by The Jerusalem Post that Shalit “will not be the last soldier kidnapped by Hamas as long as zionist israel keeps Palestinian prisoners detained.”

The senior official added that his forces were committed to all the prisoners that remain in zionist israeli prisons after the prisoner swap deal, and their release will be the organization’s top priority.

Hamas Movement Leader Khaled Meshaal, leading a Hamas delegation to Egypt, arrived in Cairo Wednesday evening to finalize the prisoners’ swap deal with the Israeli occupation.

Under the agreement, announced Tuesday,zionist israel is to free 1,027 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for its soldier, held captive in Gaza for the past five years.

On Tuesday, Meshaal praised Palestinian “steadfastness” against the “Israeli occupier” would not reveal the exact details of the deal, but stated that the “first stage” would take place within one week.

According to Meshaal, 450 prisoners would be released during the first phase, while another 550 prisoners would be released in the second phase, set to take place in two months. Meshaal also stated that priority has been given to prisoners who have been in Israeli prisons for tens of years. Meshaal further stated that 27 female Palestinian prisoners would also be released as part of the deal.

Also on Wednesday, Gilad’s parents Noam and Aviva Shalit arrived in their home in Mitzpe Hila in northern of the Zionist entity, after leaving the protest site they had been encamped at in occupied Jerusalem.
