Hamas: Israeli occupation accountable for upshots of Gaza onslaught

Hamas on Thursday held the Israeli occupation responsible for the repercussions of the latest aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Hamas spokesman Hazem Kasem said in a Facebook statement: “Thursday’s onslaught on Gaza makes part of Israel’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.”

“The offensive comes just a few hours after Israeli settlers fatally shot the Palestinian citizen Mohamed Odeh in the occupied West Bank,” added Kasem.

Hamas spokesman said the Israeli aggressions will never dampen Palestinians’ spirits throughout their anti-occupation struggle.

“The Palestinian resistance is exercising its right to defend its land and people against the Israeli occupation,” the statement read.

Three Palestinians were left injured on Thursday evening after the Israeli occupation army struck Palestinian resistance sites in the blockaded Gaza Strip.
