Hamas Leader Blasts PA’s Security Cooperation with Zionist Regime

The security cooperation between Israel and the Palestinian Authority is a grave threat to the Palestinian nation and their resistance against the Zionist regime, a senior Hamas leader stressed.

In a statement posted on his facebook page, senior Hamas Leader and a member of the Palestinian Parliament Moshir al-Mesri said that the PA continues its security cooperation with the Zionist enemy and maintains the policy of exchange of roles with the Israeli regime in a bid to win over and undermine the anti-Israeli resistance and break the firm will of the Palestinian nation in support of the Palestinian prisoners.

He blasted the remarks by Fatah member Sufian Abu Zaida about the necessity of security cooperation with the Zionist enemy.

Mesri further noted that such cooperation is “a serious threat” to the Palestinians and their heroic resistance and the continuation of the Intifada and the Palestinian nation’s campaign against the Zionist regime.

Late in February, Hamas took the Zionist regime responsible for the life and healthiness of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.

In a statement at the time, Ezzat al-Rashq, a Hamas political bureau member, strongly condemned the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian prisoners, specially those on a hunger strike.

He warned Israel of continued crimes against the prisoners, and said Hamas takes Israel responsible for the life of the prisoners.
