Hamas Leader: Israel Trying to Block Media Coverage of Zionists’ Crimes in Gaza

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said on Sunday that the Zionists’ attacks on Palestinian satellite networks and media offices were carried out to block the coverage of Israeli crimes in Gaza.

“Bombardment of the building of al-Quds satellite television network took place because it had enraged the Zionists by the (TV’s) coverage of (Israel’s) crimes and incidents of Gaza,” al-Youm al-Sabe news website quoted Haniyeh as saying.

He said even the Palestinian media were targeted by the coward Zionist enemy.

Today, the Israeli military struck two buildings used by journalists in Gaza on the fifth day of its aggressions on the Gaza Strip.

On Saturday, Israeli aircraft bombed Hamas government buildings in the Palestinian territory after Israel’s cabinet authorized the mobilization of up to 75,000 reservists, preparing for a possible ground invasion.

Over 54 people have been killed and more than 550 others injured in the new wave of Israeli attacks. At least 150 of those inured in the Israeli attacks are children.
