Hamas leader Masri: Hamas extends its hand towards reconciliation

Hamas leader, Mushir al-Masri, praised the positive spirit prevailing in the Palestinian arena these days, and stressed on Hamas’s adherence to achieve reconciliation that preserves the rights and constants of the Palestinian people.

Masri stressed, in a statement to Quds Press agency, on his movement’s rejection of the Quartet’s conditions, under any circumstances, and added that reconciliation must be based on Palestinian rights and constants, as confirmed by all the previous Palestinian agreements, mainly the National Reconciliation agreement.

He added that all visions and perceptions, leaked through the media, claiming that Hamas is approaching the path of negotiations, “is incompatible with reason and truth” because Hamas has rejected it while under siege and war, and will not accept it after the victory of the Palestinians and Arabs.

We are interested in reconciliation. Hamas sincerely extends its hand toward the reconciliation that preserves the rights and constants of the Palestinian people, the Hamas leader said.
