Hamas not to lay down weapons as part of reconciliation

Hamas will not discuss laying down its arms as part of reconciliation talks with Fatah movement during an upcoming meeting in the Egyptian capital Cairo. The Palestinian resistance movement maintains that its weapons are there to defend the Palestinian people against the Israeli regime.
