Hamas: Ongoing protests indicate popular uprising

Hamas Movement affirmed that the continuation of resistance actions proves that the Palestinian people is witnessing a popular Intifada (uprising) not a wave of temporary protests.

The Hamas’s spokesman Hazem Qasem said, in a statement on Friday, that the Palestinian people will carry on resistance action until the liberation of all occupied Palestinian territories and will not allow any decision to undermine the complete rights of the Palestinians.

He said that accomplishing reconciliation as well as national unity and political and field partnership are necessary for the persistence of the Intifada and confronting the plans aiming at liquidating the Palestinian Question.
